Does Anyone Have A Link To What Harold Ford, Jr Said

this morning on Joey Scars show? Heard he said something about getting another candidate if Bernie gets nomination or maybe it was if Bernie wins in IA & NH. And also kept repeating he was a Socialist. Then Mika asked him why. I DO NOT watch MSNBC a anymore but a friend told me about it.

I haven't seen anything posted here. Really made my friend VERY, VERY MAD!

And from what my friend said she was FUMING. Kind of said he basically has decided that Bernie CAN'T run as a Democrat because he's a Socialist! I DO know how much this is an issue here, but Bernie has always voted with Democrats and is actually much more like the Democrats of the Party I joined in the first place. THIS Democratic Party doesn't even look the same. AND it appears that most of the leaders get their memos JUST LIKE the Repukes do! They seem to have rolled over and said YEAH, it's Hillary. Almost seems they've signed their names with a blood oath.

I've NEVER seen a anything like this from Congressional or Public leaders rolling over like this.

Oh, and yes, it's that Harold Ford, Jr. who ran for Senator in TN and lost!

down that she can be much more effective as a Senator. And I happen to agree with her. She's such a fighter and I think she also knows that the time isn't right for her to do anything like this. I love her, but prefer she fights it out in Congress. AND, should Bernie actually win, SHE will fight even harder. I also think if Bernie wins it will be easier for her to win many more battles.

She might run someday, if there isn't anyone else out there taking up the standard for issues that are important to her, but she doesn't have the itch. And since Bernie is running--quite successfully--on issues near and dear to her heart, she's not going to upset the apple cart.

And, I don't think she will endorse either. Personally, I don't think she's for Hillary because her issues are almost the same as his. Plus, given tour leaders of today, it may bring more heat on her and make it harder for her to make much needed changes.

I HAVE NO proof or anything other than what my gut tells me, but I do feel she secretly would prefer Bernie to win. Their issues are so close together and having him win WILL bring some much needed coat tails. With Hillary her fight will be much harder.

been called to duty and will decent opon Iowa soon. Amazing how many have rolled over and seem to be reading from the same political rule book, or have actually been "told" it's required reading IF you want to "play" in this Democratic Party sandbox!

Kind of if you DO good work YOU will be looked upon favorably and when it comes time to hand out the "goodies" we'll see who has earned their gold stars!! THIS is NOT the type of Democratic process I can support. I do realize that there's ALWAYS been stuff that goes on behind closed doors, but I have NEVER seen a Democratic Party that has been manipulated in this way and basically coming together to lock out another candidate running for the same office.

For anyone who really wants to see or admit the truth it's not hard to see that Hillary had been decided on from the get go. I think so many of them have been set back on their heels by what Bernie has managed to do. Just keep playing the same game with the MONEY BROKERS who run the country and will do their bidding for a price and be damned what "we the people" want! People like Howard Dean, Barney Frank, John Lewis and so many more who I always thought we with us seem to have joined the ranks. I feel so betrayed by them.

There are times when I hope that these apparent shills are only saying one thing and will do the opposite. Because if they won't "we the people" will never be heard. I know I've contacted my Senators and Representative more times than I can remember, but they vote how they want anyway.

Bernie Sanders has come along at a time when this country needs our voices heard in a desperate way. This country is no longer the shining star it once was and that's a shame. I've heard it from people of many countries through friends I have on FB, so many have told me privately and some actually post it.

I'm beginning to see some media realizing they can't ignore him anymore despite everything they've thrown in his way. He and we have built a movement that is speaking loudly. All I can do or any other person who supports is to keep pushing and working to help him because TPTB certainly don't seem to care!

What that clip showed was the reality of how so, so many DLC/Third Way Democrats are trying to sell and I ain't buying!

but most won't take themselves and their family through the slough of crap that is the moat around the Castle known as the White House. No one and their family are perfect, so who wants to drag them in?

I mean they can't have a regular job, so there is their own personal income that must be raised...who can argue against that? Or, they have to be independently wealthy. Also, it takes family...same story...and yes, family deserves to be paid as they are replacing a paid employee.

We need a new system as this one has significantly degraded. I just don't know how.

Joe actually brings it up (@5:00), and Mika strongly challenges his point... but Ford takes Joe's side and really pushes the "Avowed Socialist" won't be allowed to win theme... etc.

Interesting to note that all of this is edited out of MSNBC's MOJOE website clips. I wouldn't bet on this youtube video remaining available so you may wan't to watch it soon.

and caucuses fair and square - But at the last moment the party leadership led by Humphrey, Dailey and Meany tried to screw McGovern and the primary and caucus voters out of the nomination by changing the rules that they had previously fought to keep and they almost succeeded. Needless to say they didn't succeed in that endeavor. But they did manage to totally screw up the party. They did manage to distract all the energy from the campaign after McGovern had already won more than enough delegates. They did manage to change McGovern's public image from the devote Christian, prairie populist and war hero to the candidate of Amnesty, Acid and Abortion. Yes it was Democrats who spread that nonsense; not the Nixon campaign. It was really nasty and left a bad taste in a lot of peoples' mouths for decades to come.

Would the party leadership of today do the same to Bernie and his campaign? I don't know. But, I hope not.

I wonder if they realize how many people are leaving the Democratic Party now. Just heard that so many in each Party have switched to Independent. The numbers left for Democrats is 29% and 23% and the Independents out number both Parties! I will be one of them depending on the outcome of this election because if this Party keeps doing as it is now I don't feel I belong nor do I feel they even want so many of us.

These numbers are really bad, especially for Democrats who have always had very high numbers. THIS is what the DLC started which has now turned into the Third Way Democrats. I joined a Democratic Party I believed in, not this stuff I'm seeing. The numbers do tell the story clearly!
