I posted this in GD but I don't know if it'll get any attention

It's about a plan to teach student athletes in I think W. Va to know more about social media so they know enough not to post evidence of rape. We don't think it's important to teach kids not to rape, but we do think it's important to teach kids not to post evidence if they do rape. Yep.

This was done in response to Steubenville. Can you imagine reading about Steubenville and thinking not "wow I can't believe what they did to that girl - and so many people were involved and thought it was fine to the point where they bragged and joked online about it" but instead thought, "I can't believe they were stupid enough to post evidence of that online. We'd better teach them to cover their bases better."

We hate women. Now woman, make me a sandwich, while I teach these boys to hide their rapes better.

How bizarrely fucked up is that? I was reading a couple of articles about this. It's NOT getting attention from anywhere. It should make rape enablers happy. It's the logical outcome of the attitude "it's only common sense to protect yourself" in regards to rape-as the primary method of combatting it-- which I've seen stated here and elsewhere.
