The number of men saying women's health care, abortion, is irrelevant is enraging.

snip-"Voters in three states — California, Vermont and highly contested Michigan — decided to protect abortion rights in their state constitutions. In a fourth, Kentucky, a conservative bastion and home to Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, voters rejected an amendment saying their constitution gave no right to an abortion."

2. Equally infuriating are the women who say women's lives aren't important!

Gawd!

Have you ever heard a woman say, "I'd never vote for a wooooman. Kint never trust a wooooman."

The thing is, if abortion was needed, medically or otherwise, their desired ban would become the fault of Biden or her emails or some other nonsense!

women who not only support, but go on to campaign and lend fuel and energy - to starkly misogynist candidates and platforms ... It makes my head hurt.

Women have always been major players (and often the public face) of the 'anti-' crusade from the beginning.

services. Whether it's a wife or daughter, people will be watching and blow the whistle who previously would have respected their privacy. Count on it. It'll be unfortunate for a kid that messed up and has nothing to do with her parents politics, but that's the way it will have to be.

6. Not most, but some. They don't have to leak records. It could be a volunteer seeing a pregnant girl

of the overturning of abortion is that it shows that soon they will come after MY rights."

I saw a few in the last few weeks saying, "If Democrats don't win it will be women's fault. It means they don't think abortion is a big deal." Or "The results of this election will tell us how important abortion is to women." Or "Women are too lazy to get out and vote for their rights."

I see ALL those as hateful statements about women. They reveal to me unequivocally the ingrained antipathy these men have toward women, antipathy they probably don't even know they have because it was planted in them early and has always been there.

We are STILL not thought of as actual human beings by MANY men.

7. One thing I noticed
Thu Nov 10, 2022, 09:12 AM
Nov 2022

On my local TV news on election night (where rethugs swept just about every office here) - -

Every smug Republican candidate (all white, all male except for one Republican female) was surrounded by supporters at least half if not more, female — all clapping and smiling and cheering them on.

I sit here astonished. Don’t these Rethug women have daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces? Don’t they give a shit that our rights as half the population have been taken away by all these smug males? Does this even cross their radar? As long as I live, I’ll never understand why so many chickens vote for Colonel Sanders.

of feminism in general - and utterly hostile to 'privacy' or 'autonomy.' They do have daughters and sisters - and it dampens not at all their christo-national zeal. And, no - it doesn't make the slightest bit of sense from here either.

8. What has always stunned me is the Christofascist think they can outlaw abortion.

A law will not stop abortion. A law did not work in the past and will not work now. Abortion is a simple procedure that can be dangerous. It has been going on for thousands of years and will continue.

Christianity is collapsing in the US. The Christofascist wants to pick which of Christ's teachings they obey.
'Don’t mistreat any foreigners who live in your land. Instead, treat them as well as you treat citizens and love them as much as you love yourself. Remember, you were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God' (Leviticus 19:33-34).
Would Christ build walls????
