Book club suggestion (free ebook)

Hi everyone,

I was looking at this thread about life now legally beginning 2 weeks before conception in Arizona (!):
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002555544

and a number of people were mentioning The Handmaid's Tale again. I was thinking I hadn't read it in a while, and it looks like it can be downloaded as an ebook for free:

http://www.epubbud.com/book.php?g=HBQB65WM

So everyone here could read it on the computer and discuss it. What do you think?

p.s. It's also available on the Kindle and on Audible as an audiobook.

Really you should. I had not read it before so I read it early on in the Bush** administration. It scared the crap outta me. In fact, I was reading while on vacation and was sitting in my hotel in Connecticut with a brand new nasty cold when Crossfire came on with Jon Stewart. I will always associate that nasty cold, Jon taking out the Crossfire guys and The Handmaids Tale.

Back to the topic, it is short and very scary and well worth the read. But seabeyond, you will get pissed. Oh yes, you will.
