i am so fuckin mad with this "legitimate rape" crap from atkin

Last edited Mon Aug 20, 2012, 01:32 AM - Edit history (1)

the more time that goes by, the more mad i become.

whoopi, it is not rape rape. atkins "legitimate rape" . forceful rape. Ron Paul's quote about "honest rape."

"We have forgotten that before we began calling this date rape and date fraud, we called it exciting." -- Warren Farrell

we all know what these fuckers are saying. per a discussion on du. there was a study where 39% of college girls had at one time said no, when really they meant yes. so of course the conversation devolves to.... see, some girls, what do you expect from us guys.

Raven has a thread...

Unless you have one, shut the fuck up!

i will not listen to another single man tell me what i need to do. whether on my side or not on my side.

Unless you have one, shut the fuck up!

*i just saw a commercial on tv of a young woman squirming on her seat, for vagina wipes.* WTF???? go to the fuckin doctor. really? i have had it.

what women face every single day of their lives, they would be singing a different tune. I can't remember when it wasn't on my mind to be careful and I'm old. Fuck conservatives, republican bowsers and the women that enable them.

At least Dr. Paul agreed that the woman should have some recourse to treatment in the case of "honest rape." He would give her a shot of estrogen immediately.

I have about had it with penis bearers trying to make rules about what is and what is not OK for women.

Just fucking stop it right now.

It's crazy making.

I have no patience anymore with men who whine about how bad they have it now. Sit down and shut the fuck up.

Nobody's making laws about your fucking bodies.

If you can't be in control of YOUR OWN PERSON/BODY, everything else pales by comparison. EVERY. FUCK. THING.

I googled that POV, and found some anti-choice websites that slip that in, with all the reasons women who get raped rarely get pregnant. It was like swimming in a sewer. I don't care how pastel they make the background on those sites, they're still shit.

I mean... 39%!

What exactly which percentage of however many women were involved in that ONE study actually said is immaterial.

What matters is some of those those poor rapists were only trying to fulfill those silly women's fantasies! They were trying to make these women's dreams come true!

First result - Warren Farrell.

About that study...

They asked 610 women, and 239 for whatever reason said no when they'd rather have said yes.

Therefore, "date" rapists are blameless. I think that's how the logic works, anyway. It really makes no sense at all to me, seeing as how my opinion is "yes means yes" and if that's too complicated for you then you really should do other people a favor and just stay away from them.

Because of all the discussion I've been hearing about Julian Assange and whether the charges are "real."

It seems like it's time for a discussion in this country about what rape and coercion are. I think a lot of young women who have been growing up with mixed messages on this are afraid to report because they're not sure it's a legitimate assault.

22. Me too. I was in a class once decades ago in Georgia
Tue Aug 21, 2012, 05:54 PM
Aug 2012

College class, for adults who worked days, trying to get my degree.

Good old boys in the classroom, making comments when the film played showing a woman whose childhood was a nightmare of molestation by her father, including forced pregnancy by him.\

Good old boys giggled the whole film through, making comments...."She probably loved it" "Score!" (to the father for having gotten the daughter pregnant), "that's what little girls are for anyway."

Snicker snicker snicker.

I sat there without emotion. Certainly wasn't going to reveal my history to any of them. Felt shell-shocked by the comments. Felt like I was being raped all over again.

Went home that night and took a razor to myself. Still have white lines, scars, decorating my body from that night.

Same feeling listening to this crap from the Repuke Good Old Boys.

But today I took a bright red pastel chalk and drew with it. That was all. Just drew with it. No more carving on myself. But the feelings are the same.

This is hard on all of us who have ever been victims of rape. Hard on anyone who has any empathy for rape victims too probably.

The good old boys are still snickering and smug in their superiority and safety, aren't they?

Sometimes I pretend that I believe in Hell and I imagine what tortures might await those good old boys and I imagine that I get to watch.

I rarely imagine their suffering anymore though.

I do want to stress it's not all good old boys. Child molesters (rapists) are not on just one side of the political aisle, not just adherents of one religion, or from any culture... they could be anyone. All you know for sure is it's overwhelmingly likely to be a man doing it.
