Tax item

Hi all,

Can any of you provide info on good, TRUSTWORTHY programs you have used to file federal taxes electronically?

EASY to use would be a plus, also.

I have always filed by paper. The IRS is incredibly slow in processing anymore. I am aware the IRS has free file . Can I use that even if my income is over the
‘Free’ limit, and just pay for the service??

Thank you!

in 6 weeks and my stimulus check ( which I hadn’t previously received) in my hands, while many who filed electronically were still waiting. Besides, if you owe them money, what’s the rush. Just don’t give them a free loan and you won’t be anxious for your own money to be returned to you.

And, yup, they had my money.

In 2019 it wasn’t until 13 months later they finally processed it. And again, they had my money. Feb ‘19-Mar ‘20.

I’ve used TaxAct online for several years and found it to be user-friendly and reasonably priced.
