Why does CHROME and malwarebytes etc tell me DU is NOT secure?

Always does it, and for some reason EDGE does not.

I dont see the https in the address and dont understand that either.

1. It might be an expired certificate cached on your computer

So Chrome thinks the security has expired. There is a small circle with a few lines in it immediately next to the address bar. Click on it. A small window will open saying things like "democraticundergraound.com" You should be able to tell if the certificate is epired through the options. It's not expired on my version of Chrome.

If it is expired, try refreshing the page by holding the control button and then clicking the refresh button on the browser (it's the one with the circular arrow). If that doesn't work, then clear your cache (control+shift+delete at the same time, then choose everything). This will log you out of everything and force you to sign in again. But usually clears any other probelm.

2. Oh thank you I forgot about looking there, it says

"Connection is secure" and "certificate is valid."

Also "reset permissions" is something I can do, do I want to do that? Or do I need to do nothing?

What is "quantserve" as it has permission to save data?

I'd recommend turning off the ability to save data. And if it breaks things, you can turn it on. It's advertising crap.

Reset permissions will clear any permissions you set such as "always allow/block location permission" or "Alloways allow/block notifications. It will not hurt to reset permissions. But you might get multiple nags for the sites you reset until you save the permissions.
