Technical question about threads marked as read

For the past 3 days threads I have visited have not been marked as read.

Normally, threads that have been read change color (so I know not to re-visit) but this has not been happening.

At this point I am technically clueless as to how to chnage problem. ??

OR

-- You click the DU "Mark as read" button and the icons change from yellow to gray?

The feature works on other sites, the problem has only been a DU after Friday.

Friday and prior posts still being bumped have changed link color but any posts from Sat, Sun, and today do not change color.

You were fast on the response!!

Thanks

I have done everything suggested (dumped cookies, checked settings, checked in and out of DU, rebooted) except re-install IE 9 and contacted IE support who seemed to think it was a website problem.

DU3 has always had "unread" threads blue and "read" a plum color. Other sites where I am a member don't have this problem.

Alas DU3 is more than half my actual internet time.

Hopefully, the problem will resolve on its own.

Thanks for taking the time to bother.

No apparent reason. The internet is mysterious.

Meanwhile I have lost my star.

For me, often times the "view all" link is still "visited", but the collapsed link is no longer visited after some new posts are added to the thread. Most times the system behaves has expected. (IE9)
