My next door neighbor who just so happens to be bluedigger, told me about this place, and I love it! I live in an isolated little town in western Colorado that is so far to the right, I'm surprised it doesn't just tilt right off the map. Seeing such a large forum made up of Dems gives me new heart. I can really sympathize with your location, as I retired to a tiny MidWest town which (despite its occasional redeeming value) I call RedNeckLand. Read my journal if you want to hear stories.
