Have we lost the ability to block certain topics?

I thought I remembered blocking a certain subject, but now I'm getting threads about that and I can't find where to block. Did this get taken away at some point or am I just getting senile?

... but it's not 100% effective since people can post about a topic without using a keyword you are trashing.
