In the old days when I forgot my shopping list...

I'd call home and have someone read it to me (if anyone was home). Today, I call home and have someone send it to my phone. Yeah, I could get all high tech and enter the list on my phone but I'm lucky if I even remember my phone!

My thing has always been being able to store a weeks worth of meal plans in my head and having the ADD superpowers of being able to fast scan the store shelves for the things I want while nearly running down the isles, I look like a crazy person moving my head around so much to scan shelves that I don't already know but I find my items and get out of the store ridiculously fast.

Thy say ADD/ADHD used to be what made the best hunters and gatherers, I'd like to think thats true since the only other people that I know of that can do this are also ADD/ADHD.

do you also speed read? I drive people crazy when scanning the tv listings. I get yelled at to slow down!

I can store long lists of numbers in my head and stuff like that BUT if I need four items from the grocery store and don't have a list, I will likely only remember three items. I can easily get lost in the spice section just looking at labels.

Unless it's like computer part model numbers, in which case I've got build logs in my head going back almost 20 years...

While I can rarely remember my phone number or ATM pin on the first try...
