I got to see Mom today

The priest will be there tomorrow.

They moved her to a room all by herself. Dad is allowed to be there as much as he wants. (and we're not opposed to that as the facility and its staff has been testing completely negative for five weeks).

I thanked her for making things so beautiful for us all, and told her that I love her.

I held her hand. And said some Hail Mary's for her.

It's not likely I'll get to see her again.

I’m glad your father can be with her. So glad that you could see her also. This whole Covid situation is terrible for families.

Losing your Mom is such a hard loss.

May she pass gently and knowing that you love her.

when we are cut off from our elderly parents. May you find solace in your memories, and strength to be ok. I know how your heart is breaking.

It’s such a heart wrenching thing to have to endure and with all that’s going on in this old world- it just adds to your broken heart. I hope you can find some comfort and peace.

so sad, you are a beautiful person, like your mom.
I am glad you were able to see her today.

I am saying a Hail Mary for you.
My heart is heavy knowing you whispered goodbyes to your lovely mom.

Wish I wasn’t there at that very time. It’s haunting.

With you in spirit MissMillie. Take care.
