RIP Bill Fitch.

Upon retirement, Larry Bird said that Fitch was the best coach he ever had.

First couple of seasons the Cavs played in the Cleveland Arena, an ancient structure in a bad part of town. After one game in which Fitch's automobile was stolen, he quipped "We may be last in the league, but we're first in stolen cars."
