Because it is a capella, and I had the volume up kind of loud, that first O LORD sounded like she was right next to me or in the back seat, and I almost drove off the road. I love that song. It always makes me smile. I miss the music from that time.

And I love that song. Only song I ever sang at a bar that had karaoke night.

I play this stuff all the time. Was listening to her, the Guess Who, Zeppelin and CCR all afternoon

Do not start dancing to Suzie Q if you have had a bit too much to drink or need to visit the ladies room, because the beat is sort of jiggly and it will seem like the song lasts forever. Same for City of New Orleans (Arlo Guthrie).

Also remember the first time I heard the slow version of Breaking Up is Hard To Do, and Miracles. Now I will have to go YouTubing.

Let's not forget the Band! Love me some Band

My father worked on the City of New Orleans. He came from an IC family. Grandpa, three uncles, Dad and a few of their cousins

Oh Lord, won't ya buy me a nuclear dredge
We're sitting on top of an undersea ledge
If they come by water, then we'll have the edge

Oh Lord, won't ya buy me a psyonic probe
Attaches right on to the temporal lobe
With five access channels and multiple strobe
Oh Lord, won't ya buy me a psyonic probe

Oh Lord, won't ya buy me an army with gear
Defense is espensive the danger is clear
We could be invaded as soon as next year
Oh Lord, won't ya buy me an army with gear
