To begin, here is the SOP for the group:
This group is intended to be a resource and an open forum for all things cannabis: discuss legal matters and advocacy efforts, post strain and product reviews, provide medical cannabis resources and assistance, talk about growing techniques, explore the possibilities of industrial hemp, etc.
I'd like to ask for help in creating the rules for the group. Here are the currently proposed ones:
Rule #1: We are advocates of legalized marijuana. If you disagree with that, please refrain from posting about such or you may be blocked by a host.
Rule #2: Topics of OPs will vary widely as evidenced by our SOP. However, they should be at least vaguely related to marijuana. If not, a host may lock the thread. That said, this group is rather relaxed (for some reason or another—we’ve forgotten…
) and conversation about life, the universe, and everything is not only allowed, but encouraged.
Rule #3: Judgment of posters for marijuana usage is strictly prohibited.
Rule #4: Racism, sexism, homophobia, and any other sort of bigotry will not be tolerated, per DU’s Terms of Service. Cannabis connects people unlike anything else, and that positive spirit will be enforced.
Note 1: This site is monitored and read by many people. If you are not of age, marijuana is not legal in your state, or you are worried about employers finding out, please remember that you post at your own risk. While this group is an advocate for legalized marijuana and we do not have a problem with currently illegal usage, we unfortunately do not make the rules and there is a chance, however slight, of adverse consequences.
Note 2: There will be a lot of discussion about the benefits and uses of medical cannabis. Please remember that cannabis is NOT a substitute for proper medical care. Any advice given in this group should be taken as advice, and not medical fact. Always check with your doctor if you are concerned for any reason.

Please post any proposed changes or additions to the rules in this thread below. The group can discuss them, and after three days, any modifications agreed upon by the hosts (currently just me) will be set into place, and a new rules thread will be pinned.
A couple of other things: I thought it would be fun to do a pinned strain review thread where your reviews of different strains and their benefits/effects could be posted. I also wouldn't mind doing a "Strain of the Week" type of thing either, if people are interested. I'm open to ideas and suggestions.

Edit again: this was messaged to me as a suggestion for an addition to the rules, and I completely agree--please do not make any offers for selling, buying, etc., in this forum. Same goes for any mentions of meetups that involve said things as well. I'm not sure of the legality at the moment, and I think it's better not to. You have PMs, not that I am condoning it as host

So I can share my crop, all perfectly legal here in Colorado.
I've known for years the many benefits of medical marijuana and hemp, Thank goodness "the times they are a changing" hope to add insights if I have them and learn from you all!
