Does anyone know what the cannabis laws are in Portugal? I'm going on an 8 day river cruise with a

pre-trip in Lisbon with my 91 y/o mom. I know wine will be plenty, however, I'm a lightweight and much prefer weed/edibles.

Mom is totally "with it", hip and cool. She's AMAZING for 91!!

Being with my mom for 2 weeks in the same room/cabin is going to be challenging. One of us may go overboard LOL

I would not want to chance bringing anything with me.

"However, it is not considered a crime to possess plants, substances, or preparations in quantities which do not exceed that required for average individual consumption during a 10-day period."

That's all I need - 10 days!

I think all airports in states where recreational weed is legal should have shops in airport terminals.

Thanks for the info.

Don’t take anything on the plane.

The U.S. Feds would say:
Interstate transportation of a controlled substance.

The States would say:
Atlanta- Georgia, it a can and does put people in jail for simple possession.

That is possible U.S. Federal prison time, and/or potential state charges if somebody decides to charge you for international smuggling after TSA’s dog has a sniff of your suitcase. It’s not worth it.

Go to Portugal. Enjoy it. They have great wine.

That Portugal is just across the Straights of Gibraltar from Morocco, which historically has produced superior products along those lines.

Here is a brief essay should you find yourself on a ferry ride to Morocco during your Portugal trip. You might find something useful in this article. Enjoy.

You can be flying from one legalized cannabis state to another legalized cannabis state, but the moment you walk into the airport terminal to the moment you leave the terminal at your destination, you are under federal jurisdiction.

If they catch you, they will bust you. And they will catch you. Don’t do it.

of the laws wherever you landed, whether scheduled or not. I'd really encourage you to consider that as well.
