I'm down to 10

In spite of my black thumb, I've got 10 plants, the tallest of which is a little over five feet now. In the past week I had to say goodbye to two males. Now I just have to worry about hail. I also have to worry about the aroma bothering my neighbor. She said it didn't last year, but then I only had one plant. She's just so nice that I don't think she'd tell me anyway.

..i can clone on one side and grow 9 in the other and altho they dont reach your heights, its only the top buds im growing...also i can harvest in about 6 weeks. Filters and fans keep the smell down but im in the bazoonies anyway. Im just growing from the bag seed Ive saved over the years and its about 50% male. I can identify a male at about 3 weeks now..

I was just reading how to identify sex earlier. Wish I had read it sooner.

Six weeks to harvest??? That's just crazy to me. My guy friend ( I don't know what to call him because "boyfriend" sounds stupid at our ages) had grown in the past, and he told me that it'll be late fall before harvest. Last year my son decided to see if he could still grow pot, and bought five seeds. Out of those, one was female. He moved to another state, so I was left with the plant. My daughter indulges, and she said it was great, and brought me seeds from that plant, so that's what I'm growing. I started them on a seed mat, and then added grow lights, and finally transferred them outside. I probably put them too close together. I honestly didn't think they'd do much. I've got a huge back yard, but I wanted to put them where I was positive that the sprinklers would get to them in case I went out of town, and also where I didn't think they'd bother neighbors too much. Another factor was making sure that they weren't visible from the street so they'd be safe.

The funny thing is that my guy friend took five of the seedlings, and his aren't doing nearly as well as mine. But who knows, his may end up doing better than mine.

I'm not much of a gardener, but I'm cautiously proud of my little crop.

Anything for tomatoes will be good for your garden. NPK are the three main fertilizer ingredients. For your project they translate to, N is for growth, P is for potency, and K is for finishing. Best wishes.
