But it's more likely a case of a previous alliance set up before the election. TPTB prefer to have all bets covered, and all uncontrolled candidates out before the GE. Bill and Hillary were offered a place in the 1% if they worked magic on behalf of said group, and Chelsey and grandkids would be set for life.

A lot of hard work later, and here we are today. I've heard there's a precedent for such an arrangement.

am I unfair to say that?

I posted elsewhere that we need to be respectful to HRC supporters and I mean it..and I mean no disrespect, I am only saying that in online comments I sense too many ready to take things like "now with Gay support" as if it's a plus, rather than with open eyes see that Hillary was one of the last "big names" to support marriage equality, practically having to be dragged kicking and screaming, Hillary waited until polls showed majority of Americans are for it....Well if Hillary had done that with desegregation, she's had had to wait until the majority of the whole country was for it..Oh right, Hillary was a "Barry Goldwater Girl", the phrase she used...While Bernie was getting arrested fighting..

Anyway, do we need a thread this weekend, most weekends, with lots of k/r, to remind ourselves and everyone:

"don't spend the whole weekend preaching to the choir, we must outreach to undecided and the mildly pro-Hillary folks, and keep fighting, if we want to win!"
