If Bernie wins, AWESOME

If Bernie loses, it will most certainly be by a small margin, and it still proves he could turn the tables in about a week in a state that just favored Hillary last week!

But I extrapolated all the exit polls for sex, age and race and they all have Bernie winning by 6-7% ...

A key factor is Clinton is winning the black vote only 64%-32% - a lower margin than the southern states - which might be what is helping Sanders lead in Wayne ....

Bernie Sanders 39.1%

Michigan State had Bernie losing 52-47. All other ones were Hillary by double digits with several forecasting a 20+ point margin. Either they're incredibly incompetent, polling has become impossible, or the suppress the Bernie vote strategy didn't work in Michigan.

Tue Mar 8, 2016, 09:49 PM

I peeked in the Hillary group and someone posted that:

What today's primaries in Michigan and Mississippi will mean.

Michigan Primary 147 Delegates.
Proportional distribution of delegates once a 15% threshold has been reached. HRC is leading in the polls (3 of them) by 18%, 24% & 27%. All conducted between 3/3 - 3/7.
--------------------
So the polls had her winning by a large margin. If that doesn't happen, then what the hell is going on?? I know we have much time to go but it's something to keep pondering.

Whatever it is, let's hope it keeps on happening!!

If you look down the page it shows all the individual polls and the dates the polling was done. Only one had Bernie losing by less than double digits. My guess is they aren't picking up enough independents and are underestimating turnout of young voters.

Their coverage has actually been very good in the last half hour. They have somebody with each campaign, and have been going through the breakdown based on different parts of the state and which issues are favoring each candidate, also some on the ground stuff like a senior person at the UAW apparently posting something privately on Facebook about Clinton's false and cheap shot at Bernie on supposedly voting against helping the auto industry during the crash.
