is smart in his approach. He knows that a lot of voters perceive her (rightly) as a dishonest hypocrite. He doesn't have to utter the words "dishonest" and hypocrite" in describing her, but he will play on this perception by disseminating her flip flops and her "evolutionary" positions. This way he won't lose credibility and at the same time hitting her hard on her dishonesty.

This is why he doesn't mention the e-mail issue. Most democratic voters really don't care. Dick Cheney exposed the identity of CIA operative - which is a felony- and nothing happened to him. If he start talking about about e-mails, he will lose the audience, and lose credibility. Not discussing her e-mail issues will give him enough credibility when he talks about other serious issues about her.
