(24,010 posts)I find it interesting that Clinton is scared to debate Sanders in a New York venue. Could it be that she didn't represent New Yorkers all that well vs. Wall Street? Could it be she knows that voters' remorse is growing, as to their allowing her to carpetbag their state, and then selling them out on frakking, on "free trade for the rich," on war? Could it be that she can't fake a Brooklyn accent? Could it be that New Yorkers are true progressives and will recognize a true progressive when he debates her in their own state (cuz they're not going to get much sense of him from the Corrupt Media)?
Could it be that she is just not a good debater and not a good campaigner and not a good candidate--with all those high negatives among the American people--and doesn't want to expose herself further? (Exposure = more negatives, because she is NOT a good debater--she comes across as stiff, phony, arrogant and way, way too wordy.)
Could it be she doesn't really know "which Hillary" to bring to New York?
Whether any of my speculative queries are close to the truth, or not, one thing is sure: A LOT of people in the state of New York are wondering why she won't debate Sanders there, in addition to a lot of people across the country. It smells of cowardice and fear, in the face of Sanders' recent huge wins.

Do I take any of the above back? No, because I think my questions--or some form of them--were the sorts of things that Clinton and her campaign were pondering: high negatives, for instance; public perception of cowardice and fear; and "which Hillary" to bring to New York.
