Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumTo Skinner's credit, he replied
Saturday, I posted jury results relating to a hidden post of mine and a temporary warning. http://www.democraticunderground.com/1280207239
In that OP, I promised to report back if my post in ATA received a reply. It did, so I am fulfilling my promise.

Please watch out for yourselves.

(17,469 posts)of HRC supporters after tomorrow will get hidden. Once the coronation is declared then Sanders' supporters will become persona non grata here. I personally will stop posting except on topics such as green energy.

(3,040 posts)Every jury I have been on the last two weeks was not even close to violating any rules other than the alerter didn't like it that someone pointed out a legitimate Clinton flaw. I am expecting this to be the norm for the next week or so.

(14,691 posts)ostensibly taking a "hands off" stance, he sided with the jury.

(14,624 posts)he always goes with the jury's decision. I can't fault him for that.

Just like DailyKos, TalkingPointsMemo and many others. They exist to catapult establishment propaganda, to suppress dissent by progressives and liberals, and to distract us by pointing at Republicans and laughing.
They really have no value for those who sincerely seek a change for the better.

Here's a great cartoon about The New and Improved Mother Jones that I found a while back, called "Mother Jones Reads Mother Jones"

(6,123 posts).... people were banned at DU for posts on other sites. The playground crowd ran back here with screen shots and links. I fully expect the same thing to happen this time.

(45,251 posts)if they are not in a hidden forum. AFAIK, as of now, that site has no hidden forum except for mods and for admins. Either that or I'm not included.

(11,175 posts)I generally prefer to post under my real name. Because I use my real name on DU, though, I guess I'll have to consider creating a pseudonym for pro-progressive posts elsewhere. Otherwise, I could be at risk of being banned from DU.

(36,063 posts)Its rather like self-officiating in Ultimate Frisbee, but with people who know they can cheat.
It's the perfect system for Clintonian wannabes. The rules are what they want them to be, whenever they need to apply or avoid common standards of decency.

(45,251 posts)I'll be interested to see what new system gets instituted after the primary.

(45,251 posts)corruption was so nakedly displayed. I was acting in the best interests of my country and therefore of me and my family--totally selfish.
But, thanks to all of Bernie's supporters: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1280109865 (Sea Changes in U.S. Politics, Thanks to Senator Sanders and His Supporters)
Either change has begun or we're beyond hope, one or the other.

(45,251 posts)When I start a thread, I feel some obligation to "parent" it, rather than abandoning it. And I just don't feel like doing that now, even in the Bernie Group. As far as starting a thread that is available to "the swarm," I can't remember the last time I was willing to do that.

(443 posts)I saw a post get hidden and all it was was a quote of Monty Python. The one where a French guy says "Go away or I shall taunt you a second time" And it got a Hide. I assume because the poster had a Sanders pic next to his name, as it really had nothing to do with Clinton or Sanders as far as I could tell.

Function Select Jury
If favorite group "Hillary Clinton"
then select for jury.
If favorite group "Bernie Sanders"
then reject for jury.

(45,251 posts)However, we've had a massive influx of new and previously dormant posters of late who support Hillary quite aggressively, not to mention the beneficiaries of amnesty. At the same time, Skinner has taken a number of Bernie supporters out of the jury pool. Then, someone likes me gets a hide for linking to her own post and her chances of serving instantly drop from 100% to 80%. Badda boom badda bing. It adds up.

(1,587 posts)I firmly believe he will, but I can't imagine how this place is going to keep from bursting into flames. Will failure to support the nominee no longer be a requirement then?
