I hope everyone understands that these results tonight cannot possibly be real. **UPDATE**

After this election, I will no longer vote. I will no longer participate. I realize now that it doesn't matter. Democracy is dead.

There is no way that Hillary could have won Montana and South Dakota. Even her own team is shocked by those results.

Now she is winning CA with 62%. That is impossible. And we all know it.

***UPDATE*** CNN has announced she just won the pledged delegate vote. That's what this was all about. Now it CANNOT be contested. I'm done.

to be the rule. Sort of like Alvin Greene winning the SC Dem primary with about 65% of the vote. Rather odd since nobody knew Greene from Adam. He never lifted a finger to campaign, paid for no yard signs, posters, decals. Nothing. He also had a pretty serious criminal record I believe. His opponent was a popular Dem and campaigned considerably to make sure of the results.

Where paper was used in the voting (hand-counted paper ballots), that is, absentee ballots, early voting, etc., the presumptive candidate won by about 65%. Where voting machines were used, Greene scored a smashing victory.

What would a 10-year-old kid conclude from these results?

Well if that 10-year-old were a member of the Dem party of SC, he would conclude that it was not worth the trouble to have a new election using paper ballots hand-counted. Democracy be damned. Too much trouble.

This is the problem and nobody in the higher echelons of the Dem Party gives a damn. Nobody.

And the AP call would discourage Sanders supporters. People abandon a sinking ship. They don't make any special effort to stay on board.

they had good odds on the the result they wanted. Based on many hours speaking with Californians, Bernie had a huge surge particularly in the last few days before the election.

The Clintons canceled their NJ trip to do about 30 appearances in the last few days, a very heavy schedule, because they knew they were in trouble... Consistent polling at near-tie that greatly undersampled younger cell phone users. She knew she wasn't just going to lose narrowly, that's why they both had to hit CA with everything they had. Because a big loss would have killed her narrative and secured Bernie's.

Many PhD theses will be written about this, for years to come, and she and the press will be seen for what they are.

That was how his campaign was built, after all. Clinton supporters more likely to only get news from M$M, in my estimation.

Very odd that each county has an identical result. Given the canceling of exit polls, the premature declaration of Clinton victory, and all the other usual DNC shenanigans I'd say there's a solid likelyhood the CA primary was rigged when Sanders started to gain in the polls. Too much $ in the corporate gravy train at stake to take the chance that Sanders might win.

We need to find out how many provisional ballots were required today in Los Angeles County in California. It was incredible.

Some of the voters who had registered and were shown as registered on-line were not listed on the printed sheets of voters at the polls.

Voters who registered decline-to-state and were shown on the lists as registered in that party designation are supposed to be able to vote in the Democratic primary. But they were being given pink, provisional ballots that will not be counted for 21 days.

I spoke to a woman who said she voted Democratic for 29 years and discovered today that she was registered as either Libertarian or Green and was not allowed to vote.

Lots of mistakes. It was similar to the kind of disenfranchisement and shenanigans that have gone on coincidentally (?) to the detriment of Bernie voters in state after state.

Is the DNC and are its pawns really that worried about Bernie?

I did not believe these stories about voter disenfranchisement by the Democratic machine until I saw it myself today in local polling places.

It was in most cases not the fault of the poll workers although one poll worker appeared to be demanding that voters go home and get their sample ballots (which she collected neatly in a stack) before they could receive real ballots. Maybe she was checking addresses of voters who claimed to be registered but were not listed in the polls. I have no idea.

But it was chaos, and with that kind of chaos comes disenfranchisement and discouragement of voters.

They were ALL 63-37 or 62-38 for Hillary. EVERY county (except about 5-7 counties that apparently had no mail-in ballots or they weren't posted, and those are counties Bernie won). Every one of them. That's how the election began. A private company did the exit polls and said there is a 16%!!! discrepancy between the exit polls and final results. Exit polls have always been the strongest indicator of election fraud.

I wish I had video taped it last night, because other than those first few minutes of the election results, there is no way to separate them out. I'd like to explore this further county by county. The election was stolen. I'm sorry, but it was.

I confess I have been thinking about this all night till I fell asleep and all morning, off and on. I agree with you 100%. Something odd happened with these results and I really don't need anyone to tell me to get over it. It has been said before, but I will say it again, I will not abide any Hillary supporter getting angry and complaining about the Republicans stealing elections. Get ready for it because it will be happening, especially with Trump's Mafia ties. Either you really care about these things or you decide not to when it favors your candidate. I hate saying this, but I am deleting cable news channels from my TV, especially MSNBC and I will rarely be checking in on DU, which I have been doing religiously every single morning for many years. I just haven't, yet, figured out what my game plan is. I hate hypocrisy and I see it all over the place on DU. Get ready for war and all the other things we supposedly hate as progressives. If I had the $ and ability to do it, I would go to Washington for the coronation of Hillary, if that is what happens, and turn my back on her just as people did with George W.
I am sorry, but, there is no damn way the coronation of Hillary two nights ago was just a coincidence in that it happened the night before some very important primaries, especially in California. Smart people cannot possibly believe Hillary's crew was not involved in making that happen. Because that is the thinking on this site, I have to extremely limit my visiting here and I will certainly not participate in any juries, as I have in the past - when asked. I don't understand who you people are anymore.
If folks don't realize that Bernie Sanders was the only real Democrat running in this race, then all hope is lost - for now.

Hillary has 4 years to get it right because after that we can gear up for the fight to unseat her from her throne. If I am still alive I will be on the front lines of that fight.

and I don't mean the clothing store. Forget oligarchy. Oligrachs are usually fine with the appearance of an open election because they own all the candidates. This is kleptocracy at its most brazen.

They knew because the DNC..., The 3rd Way, had their fix in from the start.

I voted for Bernie by mail a couple of weeks ago, so wasn't privy to any polling place shenanigans. But watched the returns until 2 a.m. If I'm not mistaken, HRC was ahead by roughly 400,000 votes from the very beginning and stayed there.

Fresno County returns really bothered me. Bernie hit that area hard and went to cities no politician had ever visited before. He got consistently enormous, enthusiastic crowds. Don't tell me they all stayed home! Same thing in South Dakota.

Somebody gave the order to the AP: Call it after Puerto Rico.

I think it's our job now to communicate with Bernie's campaign: FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT. So much positive hangs in the balance for him, and so much negative for HRC.

Even the bit about the counts being off by the same amount in different localities -- which of course is computer hacking -- same code, same algorithm. I remember people going through Florida results county by county.

And I think about the Clintons' closeness with the Bushes.

I don't think I've ever witnessed a dirtier politician than Hillary. Just, everything. And now this.

But FourScore, if you're going to give up, do it for a few days and then come back. There need to be a lot of witnesses, a lot of people aware of what has happened.

Also, this is not a good website for exploring this subject. JPR would be a better site.

It's like deja vu all over again. When they pulled it off in 00 and 04 I knew it wouldn't be
the last time. The Dem leadership didn't bat an eye and I knew that it would happen again.
HRC is (to me) every bit the nightmare GWB was: grandiose, unethical, mean-spirited. I
could go on and on but that pretty much sums it up.
