Must be the desire to put an end to his platform. They don't want to deal with it now, and they certainly won't want to deal with it later.

A weak threat, but a threat. If something should happen between now and July 25, the SDs could flip to Bernie and give him the nomination.

It's not likely, but it's not impossible. Hill supporters want to damage him as much as they can to reduce the chance that it could happen. They are hell bent on getting her into the WH.

The other option is to put in a VP that nobody has vetted and may take time for people to warm up to.

Unless, that VP is Elizabeth Warren.

What happened with the dem. party over the last few decades is much like what happened with msnbc. The liberal voices were silenced. I'm glad the millenials are coming into power at some point. I hope the generation coming after them is even more liberal than they are.
