Dick McCormack Receives Endorsement from Bernie Sanders

The McCormack for Senate campaign announced today that they have received the following statement of support from Bernie Sanders:
“I have known Dick McCormack for more than 25 years. He is a man of the people who has stood up for working families, the elderly, the children, the sick, and the poor. I know he will continue to fight for Vermonters in the Senate.” — U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders
“I have received support by many people over the course of this campaign and am truly honored to have received Bernie Sanders’ endorsement today,” McCormack said. “We hope that this will excite our supporters and remind them of the importance of voting in the primary next Tuesday.”
Voters in the August 9th Democratic Primary will nominate three candidates for State Senate. McCormack said. “I look forward to continuing to represent the Windsor County District in the State Senate.[/font]
