RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is scheduled to make a stop in Reno on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Sanders will campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Senate hopeful Catherine Cortez Masto, according to a news release for Clinton’s campaign.

“At a public event, Sanders will talk about Clinton's plans to raise the minimum wage to a living wage, combat climate change and move to sustainable energy, make public colleges and universities tuition free and to end a broken criminal justice system,” the statement read.

Details about the location and time of the event are expected to be released in the coming days.
