We have never had a candidate so honest and straightforward with a love for all people and the courage to stand up to the rich and powerful since FDR.

(29,237 posts)entered the presidential race, this deeply important message never made it onto the front pages, into the country's consciousness. The moral imperative we have to care for the weakest among us, and for the planet, wasn't a high profile part of our cultural conversation. Now it is. He publicly pulled back the curtain. Many didn't care to listen, minimized the importance of these issues. But millions of people heard him and this very humane message resonated with the deepest parts of our being.
We all owe Bernie a debt of gratitude... he deserves a place of respect, dignity and love above most of our leaders.
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone who feels this.

I am far, far from perfect human being but I am motivated by a vision which exists in all of the great religions Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and others and which is so beautifully and clearly stated in Matthew 7:12. So in everything, do to others what you would have them to do to you. The Golden Rule. Do to others what you would have them do to you. Not very complicated.
