DUBUQUE — U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders ended the last leg of his three-day tour through Iowa with a full room of supporters Sunday night.
Those who attended stood most of time during the hour and a half town hall meeting, cheering and shouting “Bernie,” while Sanders made his remarks.
“I welcome the world to the political revolution of two thousand and fifteen,” Sanders said.
According to an Iowa Secretary of State straw poll, Sanders took the lead in Iowa. Officially an independent, Sanders is seeking the Democratic nomination for president.
