Given the ramping up of the socialism boogieman that we are beginning to see at increasing frequency, and at a more fevered and desperate volume, I was thinking we could use this thread as a place to post tools for explanation, education, and understanding to help in the fight against the oligarchic, capitalist machine.
I'm going to start with anything from Professor Richard Wolff. In particular and of particular use to me were his lectures on Marxian Economic Theory. It explains "socialism" in a serious way and the theory gives us the tools to analyze in a way that is likely unfamiliar to most American's. His monthly lectures that are posted here often are an amazing resource.

Continuing on to Chomsky on Socialism. This video talks about the vacuous definitions of socialism that is co-opted and bastardized to the benefit of propagandists. Democracy is socialist in the purist sense of the term. This is a short video that is well worth the watch. He describes socialism as an extension of democracy to the workplace to replace industrial feudalism.
Finally the crisis of capitalism - animated. Just watch this awesome video for yourself.
Post yours. Hopefully we can share and learn new ways to take socialism back from the propagandists and to, hopefully, spread the rational meaning of socialism to those who need to hear it against those those who will continue to use the term as a cudgel to beat on Senator Sanders.
Share more please.

We are activists committed to democracy as not simply one of our political values but our means of restructuring society. Our vision is of a society in which people have a real voice in the choices and relationships that affect the entirety of our lives.
