I've never written a song for a political candidate. I don't generally trust politicians or find them particularly inspiring. Bernie's got me fired up though. It's refreshing to see somebody who not only disagrees with Citizens United, but also refuses to run a campaign with super PAC money. Listen to what Bernie Sanders is saying. Look what he's done in his political career. Figure out whether you agree with him or not and why. Vote your conscience, not what you think is "safe." Lol, people GET what they are doing, or trying to do.

I wonder why THEY don't get it, that the people are sick to death of their machinations, their negative campaigning, which for so long has STOLEN the people's right to listen without their nasty smear campaigns, to what the candidates stand for.

And people are angry AT THEM, because their Rovian games have lost us some great candidates. And we won't let them do it this time.

5. Overall, this is the flat out BEST Bernie song...

...I've seen, so far.

The composition/lyrics, the performance, the lack of overindulgent, unnecessary production values...I LOVE it!

It would be a great tune to cover, re-arranged in various genres, up to and including over-production!!

9. Bernie should have a Berntober Fest and invite

all the people who have made wonderful music in his name! It could be fundraiser fest. People pay only what they can afford. Everyone brings their own food and drink, blankets and lawn chairs and have a wonderful time just listening to all the great musicians singing their Bernie Sanders songs.
