Bernie doesn't listen. He's not pragmatic. He's just putting on a show.

Are you as sick of these false memes as I am? Where did they come from?

See... Hillary is listening! How can you tell? I guess by the "Uh huhs and Mmm hmms"

And of course "It's time for a woman president" is not the same as "It's her turn and she deserves it".

Also MEN keep telling Hillary supporters that they are just voting for her because she's a woman (that's another manifestation of It's her turn...again) Women never tell other women such a thing....right?

And of course, what Jane Goodall thinks is paramount!

I wonder if Sanders' campaign would be less of a "show" if he had someone with huge name recognition?

Please note that 90% of this post is snark. But let's face it....some things are true (they think its "her turn&quot and some thing are not (Sanders isn't listening)

Like this one:

What is that, except a backhanded way of saying that Hillary Clinton is insincere?

Please. Backhanded criticism or criticism "disguised" as snark is practically the same as straightforward criticism -- it's just a little weaker and it gives one some wiggle room to straddle the fence, if it's convenient to do so, like now.

Own it.

It's asking how can you tell she's listening?

Just like it says.

You can insert your fantasy butt-hurt reading all you want, but it is a criticism of the notion that Sanders isn't listening. It is a criticism of Hillary's supporters' memes.

4. Hi, Skinner
Wed Sep 2, 2015, 12:07 PM

So far, Sanders has been called a segregationist. He's been held responsible for slavery in Virginia and the Chicago PD's abuses of blacks. He's been called "a republican with his head between women's legs," and a rapist. There is constant insistence that he is a Republican "plant." That he's a wild-eyed (and wild-haired!) gun nut who ignores minorities and only thinks about money, whose true loyalties lie to Tel Aviv. He's too old! He's too white! He's too liberal!

(that was hidden) complaining about unfair attacks on Mrs. Clinton (and there ARE ridiculous attacks on her on this site) that then compared DU and by proxy Bernie supporters to Free Republic. I am puzzled why no concern about that sort of post. Seems to me these two posts are not dissimilar.

I understand that since the OP was hidden it could not replied to however the thread was long and no concern was voiced. Are there two different sets of decorum for HRC supporters and Bernie backers? If so it would be nice to know.

Because he doesn't do that.

It's unfortunate that some of his supporters do so, but then you would have to take a look at Hillary Clinton supporters for a comparison.

Is that a mirror a Hillary supporter would wish to look into?

I believe he has thick enough skin to deal with that kind of nonsense, and his supporters do, too.

It is kind of satire, but it really skates the line. Hillary Clinton supporters are willing to do anything to get her elected. That's a given

As far as a dose of reality is concerned, reality given how weak the GOP clown car line up is, anybody with a halfway coherent message can win.

Coherent messages pretty much exclude the GOP butt-wagon.
