Crowds in the thousands attended Bernie's Texas campaign rallies in Houston and Dallas this summer.

Reportedly, Gutierrez wants to succeed Rahm as Mayor Chicago.

I wonder what Castro's move to D.C. was intended to groom him for wants?

come. I wonder if anyone caught Bill Maher last night. Guest Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD) was excellent and the only political figure on the panel besides a younger conservative, Charles Cooke from the National Review.

Maher brought up BLM, how HRC and Barney Frank had been confronted by them recently and agreed that the phrase 'All Lives Matter' doesn't address the issue. He mainly discussed the subject with Edwards who made good points.
But Maher kept saying 'Barney Frank'- about 3 times, once stating, 'why would the BLM activists go after the very CANDIDATES working for improvements?'
I was confused by that and thought he meant Bernie. But nobody on the show caught it. Later I wondered if it was intentional, hope not. But what a blunder. And Maher had Bernie on the show not too long ago.

Wouldn't Edwards be a great VP for Bernie.

That's weird about Maher, though maybe just as well.

BLM has endorsed Bernie's equal rights agenda. Maybe re-hashing is not the best thing.

is more info. The VT doc was hoping for HHS Secy. under BO as he made known but wasn't selected so I read here. And he was replaced at the DNC by DSW per Rahm I believe, mistake. Terry McAuliffe was more effective, esp. in terms of fundraising than the current head. Dean's patience, character and persistence are admirable. Think I would have split, but you know me, a bit anyway.
Gutierrez' remarks- 'the socialist, what's his name?' Right. Both have worked in Congress since the early 90s.

Claire McCaskill opened Maher's show last night about her new book. Her earlier Bernie comments were not so effective either.
Public comments by proxy and surrogate will be ongoing within the establishment as the campaign progresses. It's a good identifier actually. Maher on BLM was brief, and it is late to bring up. He's been off most of the summer I guess. 'Barney', or 'Bernie', both senior senators from New England states, Mass., VT, close enough, whatev!

but this makes me very angry. Juaquin must have missed Bernie's visits to Dallas and Houston.

I would think the Castro Bros. would realize they don't just look like good VP candidates to Hillary - they could run with any candidate. Especially Julian.

This makes me re-think my support of them.

heavy Hispanic areas of Texas, after the damage was done of course. I'm confident JC knows which presidential Dem. candidates have campaigned in his state. Funny how that works. It's disappointing and means re-evaluating support of him.
The attraction to power and status quo is huge, but in this election matters are very different given the systemic problems in the US and imminent disruptions especially related to employment and climate change. Something has to give.

And get this: A later retraction or correction serves only to reinforce the original misinformation.

I am pretty sure whoever puts out monthly government statistics is aware of this study. When things were very bad, we got a wrong report on joblessness almost every month. It would be corrected within a couple of days--and the corrected was always worse than the initial report.

That violates my diner rule. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1280&pid=37667

After things started looking up, we got only one set of figures per month.

them, though. At least, that's the impression I get when I hear them discuss their decisions.

I've never made it to a jury. I show up when called and am usually dismissed because they fulfill their requirements for the day before they get to me. I only ever got into the courtroom once. But, again, they chose their jury before they even questioned me. That was the only time I even made it until after lunch. Mostly my "jury duty" has consisted of sitting in some dreary area with a coffee machine until they say I can go home.

Kamala Harris, Howard Dean, are all jockeying for position within the DNC structure and the DNC has deemed that in order to join the Big Boys club, they must come out publically in support of Hillary and, worse, some decided to go a little bit further and take a pot shot at Senator Sanders. Not just a pot shot but a complete lie pot shot so, fuck him! And Kamala Harris, who absolutely had my vote locked up, has now lost it because of her decision to be a good little party sheep.

I've been very loyal to Julian because of his record in San Antonio.

The DNC is going to get ripped apart if they continue this behavior, and they deserve the fall out as far as I'm concerned.
