Its official Berniemania is upon us

http://www.thomhartmann.com/users/natural-lefty/blog/2015/09/its-official-berniemania-upon-us

-So there you have it from the front lines of Facebook. Berniemania is on full strength, and we have not even had the first debate yet. My reading of the situation is that Bernie Sanders is in the best position to be elected as our next President, due to the true popularity of his policies and the trust that people have in him as an incorruptible politician. His position is somewhat parallel to Barack Obama's 8 years ago, but not the same. Bernie Sanders is warning people quite clearly, that the type of reforms that he is proposing will need populist support consistently, that we cannot relax, and he -- or whoever is President -- will need a decent Congress to work with, so this is not just about the Presidency. This is an important lesson that the electorate of the United States needs to learn, and apparently didn't when Obama was elected (although I knew it). Obama, being a somewhat moderate and compromise oriented politician, in a hostile political atmosphere, took several steps back and never got back to being able to push progressive themes with any kind of rigor. Bernie Sanders is much more determined to fight for progressive reform than Obama was, I believe, but he knows -- and is telling his suppporters -- that even if elected, the progress that we seek depends upon all of us. Bernie Sanders can be a conduit for the will of the American people, but he needs our help in creating the proper political climate and electing people who will be willing to work with him rather than against him.

DEMOCRATIC US REPRESENTATIVES & SENATORS, AND DEMOCRATIC LEGISLATORS IN ALL 50 STATES in 2016!

Especially with pernicious voter obstruction, gerrymandering & electronic vote fraud. Let's get to work, as Big Ed says!

Thank you Senator Sanders and Happy Birthday!

He's got the chops, knows how DC works like the back of his hand (or doesn't), knows
where the bodies are buried, yet hasn't sold out after 25 years; and can get shit done,
building on what Obama only started.

7. But the plutocratic oligarchy will stop at nothing to get either H.Clinton or Bush as president.

And the Democratic Party Elites only care about getting Clinton nominated and are willing to risk losing the general to do so. Lack of debates is not only hurting everyone except the DNC's choice but it also keeps Democrats out of the public eye while the Republicons are getting all the attention. Not a worry for the DNC. Getting Clinton as the nominee is their goal.

And another reason that Sanders will be more effective in the general. Theoretically Sanders will get the backing of Clinton supporters in the general (that's what they claim). The opposite will not be true. The millions that are enthusiastically supporting Sanders will be royally pissed if the DNC and Party Elite steal the nomination. Don't count on their support for Clinton.

And a lot of republicans have shown interest in voting for Sanders that flat out won't vote for Clinton.

8. There are more of us than there are of them, though. So WE CAN do it, IF we are united.

I've noticed this time that all the old 'campaign issues' that divide people and keep their focus OFF what is really going on, are not getting the same traction as they used to.

People are united on some major issues that affect all Americans, even though the Corp media is doing its best to push the distractions, with Trump playing the role of major distractor, it just isn't getting much traction in the Real World.
