Laura Bush used that line at the 2008 Republican National Convention, where Dimson, a sitting Republican President, was not welcome.

Delusional.

However, letting Hillary and Jeb! debate this is not going to be fun. Hillary will bring up 911 and Jeb! will say it happened because Bubba didn't do his job on that score in 8 years, so don't blame it all on the guy who was in office for only 7+ months before it happened. Hillary will bring up the Iraq War and Jeb! will say, You not only voted for it, but on national TV, you urged your fellow Senators to vote for it.

Either that, or they'll both agree not to raise it at all. And under the rug it will go.

Then, all they'll have to do is try to outdo each other talking tough about the Middle East.

check out. I didn't watch the debate last night and flip the switch
when the radio starts talking about it. It's hard to avoid so of course
I've heard parts of it.

I cannot explain the 'Bush kept us safe.' disconnect.

Maybe if you make a false assertion often enough it sticks in the brains of people? But it gives Bush undeserved credit. Bush should be considered a scourge but he is considered by some to be a hero. This. Is. Unbelievable.

Go, Bernie!
