In just 5-6 hours, there are already 4000+ RSVPS on FB alone (doesn't include Bernie's main page)...and you can usually triple
that number once the rally begins!

I think the convention center will do:

From Wikipedia

The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) is a exhibition center in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is among the largest exhibition centers in Northeastern United States, with some 516,000 square feet (about 4.8 hectares) of contiguous exhibition space.[1] The main exhibition floor comprises three bays which can be isolated for separate shows or linked into one large space.

I was at the rally in Phoenix and they didn't have them. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

I’d be there in a heartbeat if I wasn’t going to a friend’s wedding. I LOVE Boston (and this is from a woman raised on the NY Yankees!). When I was moving back East from California I very nearly ended up there instead of back home in NY. I’m due for another trip (though I will be up for some Boston Early Music Festival gigs later this year).

I’ll be thinking of you and checking posts from my iPhone at the reception!

I was never a sports fan, but was raised among Yankee fans and did, in elementary school, fall in love with Baby Ruth, at least as his biographer romanticized him. (My teacher thought I had been reading too many novels.) My son is, of course, a yooge Red Sox fan, so I've had to adjust.

and the occasional rugby match. On Sundays sometimes i go to Woodlawn in the Bronx to watch Gaelic Football, but since hubby isn’t at all into sports I don’t go much anymore. Kinda weird to see a middle-aged broad hanging out by herself watching.

Babe Ruth is buried about 5 miles away from where I live and there are always bats and balls people leave on his grave.

Your teacher telling you you read too many novels reminds me of Catherine Morland in Jane Austen’s “Northanger Abbey”.

Never would the words “you read too much” be uttered by any thinking person, let alone a teacher. At least I hope not.

19. To this day, when I read for pleasure, I read novels. Anything else, I read because I think I should

The funny thing is that the biographies that were recommended for me in elementary school, Lincoln and Babe Ruth, have, in a way, followed me all my life.
