It was $24 million earlier today.
It's not too far behind Hillary's numbers. You still have until midnight to donate on the west coast.

(8,812 posts)More important is the number of donors, not the amount that they give. After all, one wealthy donor to Bernie's opponent can wipe out 108 hard-earned, heartfelt $25 donations with a single check.
We can't let the media dictate the parameters of the narrative.
Democracy should ultimately come down to who has the most votes, not who has the most money.

(14,255 posts)chose Hillary (because she will benefit them the most)" bullshit. Plus this money is really grassroots money. It is important to show how much grassroots support he has. That is what helped to propel Obama past Hillary last time, IMO.
I read that Hillary was asking for $1 donations, not because that might be all someone could afford, but just to beat Bernie's small donations numbers. Reminds me of buying Facebook likes and twitter followers.

(45,251 posts)I don't say that to be a downer. I just think it important that we stay in reality and stay motivated.
This story is still carrying the 24 million dollar figure, but gives more info about the finances of the two campaigns.
