(62,325 posts)walking around, very much alive, obscenely wealthy, and having the gall to act as though what they did was not one of the biggest war crimes committed in recent memory.
It took half a century to get prosecutions against some South America's war criminals, but to the victims it is NEVER ancient history. Nor will this be.
I will not be complicit is this most recent war crime.
Ten years is NOT ancient history, much as those who thought that by supporting that massive lie would benefit their careers, would like to think.
Until there is some justice for the millions of victims, that particular crime will remain front and center as War Crimes tend to do.

Bernie had the excellent judgment to vote no on the IWR and the Patriot Act. He wasn't bamboozled by lies and he didn't vote with political ambitions in mind ...unlike, well, you know.
Ps: I wonder why Clinton supporters continue to post in this group. Considering the fact that some 60+ people are banned from the Clinton group, posting here comes across as exceedingly rude.

And then there is the widespread torture that followed.
Likely a million deaths, $ two trillion, young US soldiers broken in body and spirit.
But they did it anyway - and got away with it.
