A couple weeks ago, I was driving through Portland, OR and somebody honked at me as they passed by. My first thought was, "I don't know that person." Then I saw they had a Bernie sticker and ham radio license plates. They were probably as amazed as I was to see another car with ham radio plates and a Bernie sticker. That combination is unusual because hams are, generally speaking, more inclined toward the Tea Party end of things.
