(10,345 posts)but I'll clarify and say I would love Liz's endorsement for Bernie.

(19,537 posts)There was definitely some earlier comments when Biden was considering running that were falsely projecting Liz as a supporter and possibly a running mate for Biden. Perhaps they talked, but I don't think Warren can reconcile hers and Bidens' stances on this bill to work together on a presidential campaign. She would lose her base more than she would help us all gain support in the areas we need support for the people.

(10,345 posts)I was just making a pun using Biden's name in regards to how he was taking his sweet time telling everyone he wasn't running.

All female Senators except for one--Elizabeth Warren.

(14,691 posts)i saw comments by H's fans elsewhere about Warren's absence - and they concluded she wasn't there because "they're waiting for just the right time" for Warren to endorse HRH HRC.

(88 posts)It was a game to go along with all the other endorsements of late to show just how awesome Hillary is, according to her peers that are in the same business.
They must have assumed Warren would participate (possibly thinking about that secret silly letter of oath for Hillary a few months ago that Warren was said to be included in) and have another snaffu, glittering endorsement.
But it didn't work that way. It just goes to show Warren has principles and won't be played with. This did a lot of harm to Hillary, I think. The separation of ideas and policies between the two is growing wider, as it should.

(11,945 posts)It went by pretty quickly, but I thought they'd said a group of senators had endorsed Hillary -- with the glaring omission of Sen. Warren. Maybe this was what I'd heard, as your link notes:
Of course, Hillary's fans on DU insisted that the 2013 letter constituted an endorsement. They say so many unfounded things.
I really feel for Warren's predicament, as Hillary is the opposite of what she stands for and yet Hillary has managed to make herself very, very powerful in Democratic Party politics. There is so much wrong in all if that, it could lead a person to despair.

(11,945 posts)The thought brings tears to my eyes, because the implications would be huge and very significant for American politics.
It would be so bold, so decisive. And what a battle, what a battle it would be.
