Twitter Storm For Bernie Today Reached nearly 6 Million People!

If the media won't cover him, no problem.

The people will!

I participated in the Storm for Bernie today. If you are on Twitter there are now so many groups and individuals who are working for him, it's hard to keep up with them all.

I follw People For Bernie so got the request on my Twitter feed this morning.

There are now Twitter accounts set up by people in almost every state! I'm trying to follow them all, but it's hard to keep up with them!

The enthusiasm is amazing!

3. It's hard not to be enthusiastic about Bernie.

Sadly I don't do twitter or facebook. I'm an old geezer and marginally competent online at all. I do circulate and meet lots of random people and talk to everyone who will listen. My current targets are nutcase family members who want Bernie to win the primary because they are so sure he can't win in the general, and HRC scares them. My goal is to get as many as I can to reregister and vote for him in the primary by playing into their "he can't win" meme, because I feel so confident that he can in the general.

4. What you are doing is fantastic. Meeting people in real life and talking to them

is very important.

We have to get people over the propaganda that no one BUT the choices of those in power, can win.

WE have the power to change that. And I seriously believe that people are so angry at DC right now, that we are in a moment in our history where someone like Bernie is NEEDED and that once people get to know him and about him, more and more of them will change their minds and overcome whatever fears they have or had, and that he WILL win.

As for Twitter, if ever you want to try it, let me know. It is very simple to sign up and then follow (meaning you click a button on the page of someone you are interested in, like Bernie eg, and you will get their messages on your twitter feed.

It's a tool which can be used any way you want to. Some people use it follow Movie Stars, or Sports Figures etc.

Keep up the good work, we can change things if we have the will to do it!

8. You do whatever you are comfortable with. However, IMO, if you can do DU, you can do

twitter, facebook, reddit, whatever.

BTW, your strategy is similar to what Limbaugh and some other Republicans did with the 2008 primary. Convinced an African American could not win the general--though they may not have spelled that out, they urged Republicans to register Democratic in time to vote for Obama in the primary, to help defeat Hillary. I don't especially care if they helped Obama win the primary or not. Point is, he won and that is all I cared about at the time.

but the whole concept of facebook is alien to my being. I'm a much too private person to deal with all the side stuff that comes with it.

I've written three books about my travel experiences and many family members have urged me to do facebook to promote them. They haven't yet convinced me.

You don't have to post anything you don't want to post.

Again, I am not trying to force you to do anything that you are not comfortable with.

13. I agree with you about FB. From the beginning I didn't trust it, they asked for too much informatio

which didn't seem relevant on an internet forum, so I have not used it.

I'm sure nothing is safe or private anymore, but FB seemed too invasive to me.

12. All you have to do with Twitter is follow as many of his supporters, groups, like Women For Bernie,

or the People For Bernie, there are literally hundreds of them now, then just retweet what they tweet and your followers will do the same, and soon millions are seeing his speeches and seeing his voting record etc.

I've been on twitter since it started, but used it mostly to follow people, to get news from various sources.

Now I'm using it for Bernie!

FB is great too, Reddit is really supporting him, and there are so many other Social Media outlets that I think he won't need the Corporate Media.

Anyhow, whatever people are comfortable with. Great you are using FB to get the word out for him.
