-snip-
Sen. Bernie Sanders is picking up another labor endorsement, this time from a union that represents about 1,600 in New Hampshire and Maine.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1837 plans to officially endorse the Democratic presidential candidate today.
Bernie Sanders has a 35-year record standing shoulder to shoulder with workers and supporting the labor movement, Local 1837 President Bill Tarallo said in a statement. He has the best labor record of any presidential candidate in more than a generation.
The IBEW Local 1837 represents workers at electric utilities and broadcasting stations.

(9,869 posts)Great Union.
Thanked my post-person yesterday for her union's support of Bernie. She was really happy to hear the support.

(819 posts)Love this. Still upset with NEA, as are a number of teachers, over their endorsement of HRC. Bernie is for labor.

(4,915 posts)proudly stating that my union SEIU 1199 had endorsed Bernie instead of Hillary.
Such a foolish move on their part.
I stand with Bernie, regardless of who my union supports.
They never got my input and if they did, I would give them an earful!
