question esp. since he stresses the need for minorities equality and opportunity. The topic was raised in another post on the great Kickoff atmosphere today and the audience makeup mostly reflecting the state's white population, also the high tolerance for diversity there. The campaign HQ might be the place to contact.

I saw that question and it is a shame that his full record on Civil Rights and LGBT rights, which was WAY ahead of some of our current 'evolved' Dems, eg, he supported Gay Marriage long before it was a topic of conversation, isn't known to everyone.
He has talked about his support for equal rights for all Americans in recent interviews.
But I do think his record needs to be available so we can provide it when questions like that pop up.
It would be nice to have it ready to link to each time the question arises.

(173 posts)I would like to see a more prominent place for these important issues. His program, as of now, does not mention immigration issues. I know his voting record is solid, but you have to look for it. Why not give it more visibility? Go Bernie!

(173 posts)I started looking for info on Bernie's immigration position. The very fact that I had to dig for it was troubling. The record is there, but it is not being given any place in his media output. Too important to be on the back burner! Go Bernie!
