*Posted in Martin O'Malley Group

He pissed off Beretta. He knows how to get it done.

I'm immune to these shootings. Another one today.

This issue is non negotiable for me.

Fellow O'Malley supporters. Don't give up. Win or lose - we are right. And so is he.

It's hard not to get discouraged after months and months of low polling numbers for O'Malley but have to have faith that once the debates start, he'll pick up some momentum.

O'Malley is the only candidate who has a strong, comprehensive, and detailed approach on this issue. And his record in Maryland proves he is willing to confront the NRA and the "gun culture" in order to make gun control happen.

The other "progressive" candidate does not want to alienate the "hunting" culture in his own state.

The fact is that relatively few gun owners are "hunters," unless you mean actual or potential hunters of human beings.

The unregulated proliferation of guns is, like slavery and racism, a thoroughly noxious and deeply embedded part of the "American way of life."

Reason and common sense, in this as in many other issues, seems hard to come by these days.

O'Malley gets it. But the psycho ward of American politics and guns isn't ready for him.

We are not even close to being a civilized nation.

Just got off the phone with him. Was in Firenze yesterday at a cantina with his brother in law - we are a laughing stock of the "advanced" world.

They have their problems - no one doubts that. But this problem we have? There is no reason for this stupidity.

There is no reason we can't have advanced background checks and there is no reason we can't register our guns with local pd. Some people are simply not fit to even own a hunting rifle.

You know - my father in law lost ownership of his guns the same day he lost his license? Advanced age and sight issues.

He got shit done with regard to this issue. I am so sick and tired of all of these senseless murders. Take a look at this chart:

I am tired of people whining about how hard it is to get a gun.

REGULATED is part of the second amendment.

7. The Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act - it isn't dead

Looking at your chart - a nut with a desire to murder randomly that resides in Arizona decides to come to NJ and fire their guns at the school in my town - The Republicas think that's just fine and dandy. It was difficult to pick what to snip from this article - but I think I picked the best four paragraphs.

http://thehill.com/regulation/legislation/232633-senate-republican-unveils-gun-rights-bill

The Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act would allow gun owners who have a concealed carry permit in their home state to bring their firearms in any other state with concealed-carry laws.

"This operates more or less like a driver’s license,” Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), the second-ranking Republican in the upper chamber, told The Hill. "So, for example, if you have a driver’s license in Texas, you can drive in New York, in Utah and other places, subject to the laws of those states."

Everytown for Gun Safety:

Federally imposed concealed carry laws interfere with states’ fundamental right to determine who is too dangerous to carry hidden, loaded guns in public,” Everytown for Gun Safety President John Feinblatt told The Hill.

The next three "sentence paragraphs" are worth doing to the link.

I'm watching Rev Al - and it's coming up that folks cross stare lines to get their guns. I'd we are going to lose our States Rights to determine who ay conceal carry - then states who want a two year old carrying a gun should lose their right to hand out guns left and right.

And it's hyperbole - and I don't care! It's hyperbole to state "the gub'mint is gonna take yer guns!"

Absolutely don't give up O'Malley supporters.

And don't give up gun control advocates!

MO'M should be interviewed on every major television program, about his strong stance on gun control.

Thanks JAG.
