Whoever the front runner is in the D party is who certain folks will attack

and it will be done in an orchestrated manner ALL OVER the internet, MESSAGE BOARDS and so on.

You will see certain other candidates or just one really attacking ANY strong Democrat and you will see the KGB (dont waste my time with their new name, I dont care) and the GOP working on this as well.

Then you will see CONCERNED people here and there about this and that part of the past or record of whoever our strongest candidates are.

SO obvious what is going on SO SO SO obvious.

Me, I support ANY democrat as if MY LIFE depends on it.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

That is legitimate. Democrats are not robots. If someone is bringing up an issue, to get feedback, that is VERY legitimate and a GOOD thing. Because any voter who has decided not to vote for someone, will no longer be concerned about anything about that candidate.

I also would remove from the equation anyone who is responding on an issue that was brought up by someone else.

I have had concerns about this or that issue regarding some of the candidates, on my way to working through how important those issues are to me, what others think about those issues, and the like.

I am no longer concerned about Biden. I did not have issues with the Hill hearing, or with the kissing of heads setup. I have had other issues. I no longer have those concerns because I have decided not to support him. No need for me to concerned any longer.

But now I may have concerns about some of the others, as I work through issues concerning them.

ALL candidates have issues. Any Democrat who has a brain and cares, will be posting posts about their concerns. That's a good thing. (Esp since those same issues will be showing up in ads and will have an impact on the voting public at large...so it's best to work thru those issues here to see how big a deal they really are.)

UPDATED to add: There IS a difference between a post about questions about an issue or real concerns, on the one hand, and some of the posts I've seen here that are what I'd call HIT PIECES. The links of authority are not legitimate news sources, the links IN those questionable sources don't really say what they are represented to say, or even an occasional one is a rightwing source. The whole thrust of the piece is to use language that incites passions, rather than give information and facts. You know the kind of thing I'm talking about. I read one recently that took some truths, which were included, but embellished them with half-truths and straight up false information, using questionable sources for some of the so-called information. It was actually shocking that the readers just took the piece at face value, never questioning the truth of the substance or the sources. Shocking because I would have expected DUers to catch on.

It will be a different grouping for each candidate, but it's entirely normal that people who support one candidate will have reasons why they don't support others. Part of convincing supporters of other candidates to change their vote is to point out the flaws in those other candidates (particularly whoever currently holds the lead).

Unless it's a newbie poster, it's counterproductive to imply that regular DUers who support the #3-#6 candidates to really be closet conservatives here on DU just to disrupt.

Of course... that's going to happen anyways.

for not supporting the others is because I don't believe they can beat trump.

So if Sanders or Harris were to pull ahead in some poll(s), you would naturally be concerned and would likely point out on DU threads that we should all reconsider and get behind Biden.

While it sounds like the OPer would accuse you of being a right-wing troll just trying to stir up dissension.

I'm an elected Democratic Party precinct delegate and on the Executive Board of the 12th Congressional District (Rep Debbie Dingell) Democratic Party. I'd love to see a Biden/Harris ticket. BTW: I only support true Dems, if you get what I mean.

but, the election will not be won by a far left candidate. Central/left is who will win. Folks want normalcy. Biden represents that. trump's game plan includes winning Pennsylvania. Biden was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He has always had a close relationship with blue collar workers who know trump has screwed them. And now we see where folks 55 and over are moving to Biden. it's a numbers game and you don't seem to get it.
Biden/Harris would be a formidable ticket.

if you are one of those people who sit on juries, but never vote to take anything down, you are part of the problem. opt out.

but as a former mod, i can tell you that these concern trolls are the hardest to judge. soooo many times, there was one mod who didnt see the problem, who took people in good faith. usually it took a few alerts to establish a pattern.

even harder now, when you dont know who it is, or even if it a shiny noob. and when you cant see the pattern.

but here is the thing. successful alerts are tracked. if you want to drain the swamp here, alert, and convict.
be more skeptical.
