I just watched The Newshour where Judy Woodruff interviewed....

....Bernie Sanders. I've not supported Bernie as a candidate this year, but watching him tonight with his old progressive fire was a real motivation. I was excited by his candidacy in 2016, agreed with his positions and supported him. Tonight was a reminder, to me at least, why I wrote checks and cheered in the auditorium when he came to town.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Even if he doesn't win, his voice will be valuable in the primaries. nt earthshine May 2019 #1

A great deal of the progressiveness that we see in other candidates I believe stems from Bernie Sanders and I would happily support him if he becomes the nominee.

same appeal about economic sanity and justice for at least twenty years now that I can recall, and probably longer. He’s done more than anyone to preserve the notions of FDR progressiveness and move the party back toward the left. He’s a national hero in my view — even if I may not support him with my vote this primary season.

I found the rhetoric tired, same old, same old with no new vision for the rapidly changing dynamics of today.

I didn't see someone who could win the primaries.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
