O'Rourke Won't Unconditionally Support Any Democrat

“Beto O’Rourke on Friday refused to commit his unconditional support to Democrats down the ticket in 2020 should he secure his party’s nomination, in a contentious exchange with a New Hampshire voter,” CNN reports.

Said O’Rourke: “I can’t take a pledge to support every single Democrat in the country. I need to know about them first, right? Would you want me to make a blanket commitment about people I know nothing about, who I’ve never met?

He has given 100% commitment to support AND work his ass off for whoever is the presidential nominee.

And he is 100% right not to give a blanket endorsement and support of every Democrat running for every office all across the country. When you have idiots like Roy Moore running (And Dems have some kooks too) you sure as hell don't blindly support people.

Beto's statement is a reasonable one.

Plus, David Duke ran as a Dem a couple of times. I wouldn't expect Beto to support him if he decided to do so again. I don't think anyone would.

and then claim Beto is supporting him.

as far as the democratic nomination for president goes, Beto has said it's important to support whoever will be the nominee . if he does not end up the nominee he will fully support whoever does. he stressed how important it was.

Not supporting someone is NOT the same as opposing someone. Anthony Weiner was a Democrat. Would you support him? Trump used to be a Democrat. If he switched party would you support him? I doubt it.

That question in the original post is like asking someone to sign a contract without reading it.
