What I heard on today's "This Week With George Stephanopoulos"

Panelists seemed to agree:

1. Biden is doing so well in the polls because Democrats’ main concern is to beat Trump,
as opposed to differences among Democratic candidates on policy.
And Biden can 'be president' from Day One.

2. At the Democratic debates, Biden will take on Trump,
while most of the other candidates will attack Biden.

1. #1 is probably true. Many have said that on DU. Where on tape does Steph. say that?

I skipped around video looking for where he said these things, but didn't find it. Do you know where on the tape he says these things?

As for #2, who knows for sure, but that's the way it usu. works, although they'll all take on Trump. But the ones not leading usually try to hit the leader, to take his numbers down a notch.

I can't wait for the debates to start. I'm hoping this clarifies the field.

Near the last 15 minutes of the show, I think.

So I don't know anything about panelists, and frankly, by the time I reached Booker segment, I was done. I try to tell people about where something in a video is, when posting a lengthy video, if I'm directing them to a specific thing.

"concern"!

It's only the difference between Democracy and Fascism that has us Concerned!

I hope Biden and his team will have good responses for the predicted "attacks".

15. I can see it going like this.

Candidate X: "Yes, I have a much different plan for the economy than Biden has shown historically." (candidate points out two or three parts of their plan).

Biden: "The Trump Tax Scam was designed to rob from the poor and give to the rich. It did nothing more than pay off his fat cat contributors. He lied directly to so many of the hard working people in this country about how he was going to fight for them. As expected, he just fought for his fat cat friends."

In other words, I think Biden will never have to respond directly. He can campaign for the general from this point forward. Each time someone says something negative about him he just needs to remind Democrats who the enemy is.

primary today, I would vote for:

I think our candidates will stick to pushing their policies. Initially, most of the candidates won't even be on the stage with Biden. Those who are really aren't going to have a lot of time to differentiate themselves if talking about Biden.

16. The other candidates should not take on Biden. Leave that to Bernie; he's used to doing that.
