12. Reality check. Here's what Scarborough REALLY said (not what you are implying he said):

Joe Scarborough: (Rep. Clyburn said) "I worked with Strom Thurmond all my life. You don't have to agree with people to work with them." David Ignatius, I think that's the point. When you have people like Jim Clyburn coming out, who have been around for a long time, who also is the most powerful voice in Democratic politics in South Carolina, that provides Biden some cover."

(David Ignatius speaks for a long time)

"The real problem, Jonathan, is that he sort of rambled around."

Their discussion was mainly about being disciplined and not just speaking off the cuff in a primary. Have your statement and stick to it.

They didn't have a problem with Biden's actions or statements about his working with Thurmond.

Some people can't handle an objective discussion about strategy and speaking styles in elections. They may not want to watch political programs, because that's part of what they're about. The candidates have people on their teams dedicated to speeches, statements, speaking styles, how to address one thing or another. It's part of running for office.

Biden can make as many gaffes as he wants, he is definitely not a racist or enabler of neo-nazis.

Fuck Graham, he sold his soul to the Orange Devil.

But I disagree that gaffes are OK in a presidential campaign.

He should've listened to his advisors and kept his fond memories southern racists to himself.

9. All our candidates have made or will make "gaffes."

I don’t think our voters care about gaffes. There is at least one other candidate IMHO who is more gaffe prone than Biden

What our voters want is a Democrat in the White House who will lift up the 99%. And protect the most vulnerable citizens of our country. And who will undo the damage Trump has done to the people.

All of our candidates can do that. I personally have zero interest in engaging with the MSM’s painting Democrats as terrible over some mistake/gaffe while at the same time they prop up Republicans and give Trump a free pass over the terrible things he’s done.

The Pundit class can slice and dice, wordparse, read tea leaves, and dishonestly misrepresent Democrats as much as they want. They appear to think destroying Democrats is their job.

Until they hold Trump accountable for what he has done, i’m Just not interested in their bullshit.
