on substance, even argument, as on tactics (stand out by taking on the top dog), delivery,
personality, and coming-from-behind factor.

I was surprised that she claimed to be the only candidate to mention a failed Latin America policy
as influencing the current humanitarian crisis, since Biden’s most cogent article on this very topic had just been published, and I find the Biden-blame offensive, but yes, her personalizing
bussing was effective.

She is, though, only yet another rival trying to undercut Biden’s civil right creds and his long-established ties with, and support from, black American voters, by no means assured, and in fairness, stronger with older than younger people.

She might cut into his lead along with Warren and Sanders. She might win the primaries. Or she
might be a new political darling. She is already a powerful voice as earned. However, she can not
win the general election and does not have near Biden’s presidential qualifications.

What she did tonight was a win of sorts, for litigating the past, for herself most of all.

Not a win for the country.

I agree with you there. But that’s what happens when you have a front runner with a record going back to the early 70s.

Harris is getting a lot of attention for her takedown but I think it’s political junk food at the end of the day. Nothing sustainable in and of itself.

Matthews & Biden go way back, so they're pretty friendly. But even friends recognize each other's flaws.

Do you want media that offers reality, or just a rah-rah chorus, to protect you from what may happen in an election?

If one person doesn't like a candidate, for whatever reason, you can bet your boopy there are many others who feel the same way.
