Related: About this forumWhy isn't Biden's support of the bankruptcy reform bill brought up more?
It was a huge benefit to the banking industry, and he needs to answer for it.

(5,435 posts)perhaps a factional difference that we are trying to ignore in the interest of defeating trump, but a difference that we will eventually have to solve to go forward as a party.

(4,867 posts)1) The field is so large and there are so many issues, that particular vote seems forever ago.
2) Joe had cast many votes over his long career.
3j Assuming Joe eventually faces Warren and Sanders in a future debate and the economy is front and center, I suspect this issue will be discussed.

(1,810 posts)I knew the "hugging" dust up and the "segregationist" dust up were going to help him. If the bankruptcy reform bill is explained easily it will hurt him considering the current state of the party.
That said, I think so much of his support is for different reasons. I think people feel he will place great people to run agencies that have been decimated under the Trump administration. It's more about rebuilding the functions of our government. At least that is why I have Biden as my number two.
